Contact
Email [email protected] and we'll get back to you.
When reporting a bug, please include your device (e.g. iPhone 15, iPad Pro, MacBook Air), your OS version (iOS / iPadOS / macOS), and the app version, plus the steps that lead to the problem. That's what we need to track it down.
How do I add songs?
Audio files come from your own storage — the Files app or iCloud Drive, or any app that can share audio. In a playlist, tap the … (More) menu and choose Add Songs, then pick your files. You can also add tracks straight to your Library with the + button. On Mac, you can additionally drag and drop audio files right onto the Library or a playlist.
Which formats are supported?
MP3, AAC, M4A, FLAC, WAV, AIFF, and any other audio format iOS or macOS supports natively.
How do I make a playlist?
Open the Playlists tab and tap +, give the playlist a name, and tap Create. Open the new playlist and use its … menu → Add Songs to fill it. Long-press and drag to reorder tracks, and swipe a playlist in the list to rename or delete it. Deleting a playlist keeps the songs themselves in your Library.
How do I edit a song's info?
Open the edit sheet for a song and change its Title, Artist, or Album. If you edit the song that's currently playing, the Lock Screen and Control Center update to match.
Does my music leave my device?
No. Imported files are copied into the app's own storage on your device and played locally. BB08o2Player has no network access — nothing is uploaded, streamed out, or shared with anyone. See the Privacy Policy for details.
What does the Previous button do?
If more than three seconds of the current track have played, Previous restarts the current track from the beginning. Tap it again (within the first three seconds) to go back to the previous song.
Can I control playback from Bluetooth or headphones?
Yes. Play/pause, next, previous, and scrubbing work from Bluetooth headsets, wireless speakers, and the Lock Screen / Control Center. Playback pauses automatically when you unplug headphones or a Bluetooth device disconnects, so audio never suddenly blasts from the built-in speaker.
How do I remove a song?
Swipe a song in your Library to remove it. Removing a song from the Library deletes its copied file and takes it out of every playlist, so it cannot be undone.
Privacy Policy
Short version: we don't collect anything, and your music never leaves your device.
BB08o2Player is designed so there is simply nothing to collect. The app does not gather, store, transmit, or share any personal information.
No data collected
We do not collect any personal data. There is no sign-up and no profile. The app does not read your contacts, location, photos, or any other personal information.
No accounts
BB08o2Player has no accounts and no login. You never give us a name, email address, or password to use the app.
No analytics, no ads, no tracking
There is no analytics or usage tracking of any kind, no advertising, and no third-party tracking SDKs. We do not build a profile of you and we have no identifiers to track you with.
No network access
The app does not connect to the internet. It makes no network requests, so your activity in the app is never sent anywhere. (This website is the only place we have an online presence, and it loads no third-party scripts or trackers either.)
Your files stay on your device
Audio files you add are copied into the app's own storage on your device and played locally. Your music, playlists, and any metadata edits remain on your device and are never uploaded or shared.
No third parties
Because the app collects nothing and has no network access, there is no data to sell, rent, or share, and no third-party services involved in handling your data.
Children's privacy
BB08o2Player is rated 4+ and is safe for all ages. Since the app collects no data from anyone, it collects no data from children. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children or anyone else.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the effective date below. Material changes will also be reflected in the app's App Store listing. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
